Probably want to make my bedroom look as much like this as possible!
I love the how mustard yellows automatically make a room so cozy!
Isn't that tapestry absolutely adorable?

Yeasayer's One

What I've been jamming to lately

I can't begin to tell you how much time I spend in a kitchen. Out of my household duties, I've been selected
to clean the kitchen becuase, well, I spend most of time there!

What would you have in your kitchen? I know, I want my kitchen to be as bright as possible. A lot of crisp whites accented with some pastels. I'm not a huge fan of marble counter tops. I'd like something like wood
to give it a nice rustic feeling! Oh, I can't wait to go house hunting one day. I'm going to need a very large
kitchen with tons of pots and pans!

A hello has been long over due

I've been wrapped up in art projects, math assisgnments and a lot of shifts at Sabon. I just finished my Math Mid-Term. I left feeling positive and ready to take my Spanish Mid-Term.

What's been new in the house of Texans? Well, for starters, I got a kitten! I named her Misuki. Misuko means cute in Japanese. I tweeked it slightly to make it sound more child-like. What do you think? I've also had a week hiatus due to watching Breaking Bad.

My friend, Irene, visited New York from Chicago. I had drinks with her and her sister on Thursday afternoon. I've made a few friends lately.

I've been preparing for the Holidays. I can't wait for Halloween! I hope we can wear our costumes to work. Did I mention, I'm dressing up as an avocado? I'm getting green felt and sewing an oval with a hole cut in the middle. I'll paint my face brown for the seed. I'm also going to wear green tights and a green shirt.

I wish I had a more exciting life but atleast I can say I'm getting on top of things. I like how busy I am.

Oh wait! I went to an after party for short films. Elle, Abott's sister, and her boyfriend came to New York for the screening of their short film, Recess. It won awards! We managed to get to the party to late but at least I left with some shirts!

This month masks the most amazing month of the year

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back at Starbucks, tights are being worn, hats are being toppled onto our heads and sooner than later, we'll be pulling the pea coats. Fall is in session, finally, in Manhattan. This month, alone, has so much excitement whether it be the hype of Halloween or the overall transition from Summer to Fall.

Because I am an actor, Halloween is embedded into our DNA coding as one of the most fun holidays around. Did I mention that I was dressing up as an avocado? I tried being sexy for Halloween in Chicago and IT DID NOT PAN OUT RIGHT. So for this Halloween, I'll be sure to be nice and cosy!

I can't wait to take a stroll around Central Park this time of year.
